Built on ruins that date from Roman times, this spot has withstood Viking crusades, the Reformation, and tornados.  "The cloister (14th-15th C) is placed on the south side of the cathedral. Above the windows are the scenes of Saint Martin," according to Netherlands-Tourism.com
